Teresa Sapey is an architect and designer who, in 1990, founded the Studio Teresa Sapey in Madrid wherefrom she has since carried out her creativity. She graduated from the Polytechnic Faculty of Turin in 1985 and, soon after, obtained a BA in Fine Arts at the Parson School of Design in Paris, among other qualifications. In 2008, she received the Woman Together prize at the United Nations and in 2009, Marie Claire (Italy) named her among the 10 women whom will change the world.
The aim of her designs is to enhance mundane spaces into ones that are energetic and that provoke emotion and sensation in the user through combining creativity, functionality, art and design. Her designer furniture presented by Vondom includes the Adan + Koi, Chemistubes and Chrismy collections.
