A Catalan designer and self-defined “industrial dreamer”, Eugeni Quitllet lives and works in Barcelona where he graduated from La Llotja Art School. He has continually been broadening the fields of contemporary interior and industrial design since then and has recently been awarded Designer of the Year 2016 by Maison&Objet.

Quitllet’s designer furniture has an urban feel with a soft touch as his pieces merge the flowing curves found in nature and the robotics of digital precision. Vondom houses a wide variety of his designer furniture, namely the iconic Africa, Brooklyn and Bum Bum collections. Organic and evolving seats, connected via Bluetooth and capable of disseminating music, like shells for listening to the sea according to the designer, is one of the unique features he has developed that are breaking the norm for contemporary furniture design.
