Imagine coming home to a place that feels more like a 70’s disco party at every turn and corner?
The wild imagination of LA designer Martyn Bullard, together with the fashion prowess of Tommy Hilfiger and wife Dee, saw this wild idea conceived into a disco delight. This dynamic trio create a house that was half art gallery, half 70s disco madness and what better place to birth this idea than in groovy Miami?
mirrors, monochromes and mickey mouse
– what a medley!
Works of art by fine artists, Warhol and Basquiat, are extended on to the colors in the interior used around the house. This was to create a continued theme and a fashionable unison between art and interior.
Red & navy accents are a traditional Tommy Hilfiger signature.
What a clever way to incorporate the brand identity to the interior, almost as a reminder who the hosts are.
Hilfiger and his wife, Dee, bought the mega-home in 2013 for $17.25 million. After a million-dollar makeover, in 2017, the Hilfigers put up their beautiful Miami beach house up for sale at $27.5 million – a jewel worth every penny!
“We’re here for the weather, the Latin flavor, the art, and the palm trees. Most of all we’re here for the fun,”
– Tommy Hilfiger.
