Housed in the 107 year old refurbished Armadale Theatre in inner-Melbourne, the luxuriously appointed interior of Le Plonc restaurant indulges in hues of blue like no other. The restaurant forms part of furniture retailer James Said’s stunning showroom. James Said is Australia’s leading distributor of luxury European furniture brand Eichholtz.
Every piece in the restaurant is by Eichholtz. Interior designer Greg Natale took the opportunity to showcase Eichholtz’s furniture and lighting, offering a unique experiential capacity where all furnishings can be enjoyed and purchased. The richness of the blue painted walls is carried through to the upholstered furnishings in luxurious fabrics.

We live in a world buzzing with over-run schedules and unchecked to-do lists, your home should offer you serenity and a peaceful escape from the noise. Designers of Jacobsen Arquitetura understand this! They merge modern designs with nature in all their projects and in this MH House, it’s not any different!
To integrate and experience of both leisure and socialization, the designers had to carefully consider all elements that would offer a sunny open area as well as privacy on the terrace.
“In every walk with nature one receives far more than” he seeks.
– John Muir
This architectural masterpiece captures the essence of life and reminds us that we were made for nature and nature for us. This perfect setting shows the importance to escape the busy flow of the day, escape and be one with serenity.
The natural light and airflow into each room, allowing the natural tones of the outside to settle into a continuous nature-inspired interior design.
It is not only the design which embodies the theme of nature, but also the material used to construct it.
The few finishing materials such as carbonized wood in the facades, sawed granites on the floors and natural wood in the linings were chosen due to its low maintenance. Therefore creating a palette of colors and textures coexisting with rustic and sophisticated imprints.
