POLYCHROME PALACE

Polychrome Palace

Imagine coming home to a place that feels more like a 70’s disco party at every turn and corner?
The wild imagination of LA designer Martyn Bullard, together with the fashion prowess of Tommy Hilfiger and wife Dee, saw this wild idea conceived into a disco delight. This dynamic trio create a house that was half art gallery, half 70s disco madness and what better place to birth this idea than in groovy Miami?

mirrors, monochromes and mickey mouse
– what a medley!

Dee Hilfiger’s dreamy private bathroom.

Works of art by fine artists, Warhol and Basquiat, are extended on to the colors in the interior used around the house. This was to create a continued theme and a fashionable unison between art and interior.

Red & navy accents are a traditional Tommy Hilfiger signature.
What a clever way to incorporate the brand identity to the interior, almost as a reminder who the hosts are.

Hilfiger and his wife, Dee, bought the mega-home in 2013 for $17.25 million. After a million-dollar makeover, in 2017, the Hilfigers put up their beautiful Miami beach house up for sale at $27.5 million – a jewel worth every penny!

“We’re here for the weather, the Latin flavor, the art, and the palm trees. Most of all we’re here for the fun,”
Tommy Hilfiger.

Forest Escape

Forest Escape

We live in a world buzzing with over-run schedules and unchecked to-do lists, your home should offer you serenity and a peaceful escape from the noise. Designers of Jacobsen Arquitetura understand this! They merge modern designs with nature in all their projects and in this MH House, it’s not any different!

To integrate and experience of both leisure and socialization, the designers had to carefully consider all elements that would offer a sunny open area as well as privacy on the terrace.

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than” he seeks.

– John Muir

This architectural masterpiece captures the essence of life and reminds us that we were made for nature and nature for us. This perfect setting shows the importance to escape the busy flow of the day, escape and be one with serenity.

The natural light and airflow into each room, allowing the natural tones of the outside to settle into a continuous nature-inspired interior design.

It is not only the design which embodies the theme of nature, but also the material used to construct it.

The few finishing materials such as carbonized wood in the facades, sawed granites on the floors and natural wood in the linings were chosen due to its low maintenance. Therefore creating a palette of colors and textures coexisting with rustic and sophisticated imprints.

GREEN AND PINK – WHO KNEW?

Green and Pink – Who Knew?

Nestled within Amazon’s The Spheres, in Seattle Washington, is the picturesque, Willmott’s Ghost, owned by award-winning chef Renee Erickson & partners. To assemble the Italian restaurant, enclosed in a glass dome, required more hands than one. After the crafty work of interior designers and helicopter architects, Willmott’s Ghost opened it’s doors to those who enjoy good food and the surrounds of the calming green and pink accents.

The interior is a breath-taking delight, drawing its geometric figure from curves of the dome. Natural lighting enters the space to add to the clean interior that adorns each corner and angle of the restaurant. Wood pickets add to the interior, alongside marble countertops, pastel pink tile, and soft mint green.

They’ve made the kitchen visible, allowing the guests to watch the chefs prepare their meals. Tasty!

#webelieve in the romance found in the design matrimony of green & pink.

These accents allow you to add a playful and classy look to your home decor. You can push to the boundaries with this one, from softer shades of green to strong emerald interior pieces and wood elements in the furniture you choose to go with.

How can we describe the mood set by green and pink interior designs?
Clean, pure, natural and delightful, playful, exquisite, steady, feminine, plush, inviting, cooling – we could go on.

Green and pink give a multi-faceted view to the design of your space and the furniture you pick.
It’s unlimited and ever-evolving. It is, whatever you make it.
