More than just an architectural beauty, this off-the-grid guest house was designed to co-exist with the unaffected Californian hillside that it’s nestled in.
Designed by the collaborative effort of Anacapa Architecture and Willson Design, the home epitomizes construction that is environmentally conscious. From the building materials to its energy sources, the entire house is designed to be self-sufficient and of low-impact to its natural surroundings. The rooftop is covered with native grasses, and the natural aesthetic is carried through to the interiors by the wooden walls, authentic leather furnishings and ceiling-to-floor windows that exemplify the property’s spectacular ocean views.
