History

Core Furniture Concepts (Pty Ltd) was established as a furniture supplier in 2005 with the aim to provide quality seating product to the growing hospitality industry. Initially the company focused predominantly on European product, but quickly came to realize that much of this product was simply un-affordable for the South African market.
Accordingly the directors embarked on regular travels throughout the world, searching for well priced and quality conscious replacement factories.  Fortunately Core’s endeavors in this regard were successful and it today enjoys strong relationships with a number of reliable and highly competitive furniture manufacturers. Furthermore having set up our own buying office in china, Core is able to react quickly and decisively to customer demands, product enquiries and quality control.

Product

Core deals in all aspects of furniture as applicable to the Hospitality Industry as well as relevant accessories. Main items are: Bar stools & Tables, Restaurant Chairs & Tables,  Outdoor Leisure Furniture, Specialized Stadium and Theatre Seating, Canteen Furniture, Hotel & Corporate Leisure Seating and similar. Accessories as required by mainly Corporate and Hotel groups such as Mirrors, Pictures, Cushions and similar are also part of Core’s offering.
Our modern ranges can be found in hotels, cafes, restaurants and bars all around the Southern Africa with many restaurant chains and hotels having used our services so far.

Advantages

Core does not only offer product, but is also able to assist customers with up to date design input and extensive product knowledge, making Core a suitable partner for many design houses, architects and procurement offices. Extensive and regular travels ensure that the Core team is constantly up to date with international trends, which form the basis of Core’s strength. Regular visits to our suppliers and strict quality control measures performed by our own staff before goods leave the factory, have helped to make Core synonymous with trend setting quality product supply at highly competitive prices.
Various main line items are kept in stock, affording many customers the opportunity to purchase large quantity goods ex stock. Non- stock items are imported specifically for our customers with lead times generally not exceeding 4-6 weeks.

Affiliations

A close working relationship with our Sister Company "Core Catering Supplies" with branches countrywide, has resulted in deeper market penetration and improved networking. The staff of both companies is well connected with each other and able to offer substantial expertise to our customers.

Being a preferred supplier to some of the countries leading hotel groups, architects and procurement houses will hopefully ensure the companies continued growth and market penetration.
